WACS - European Conference

Dear culinary friends,

We are happy to inform you that preparations for the European WACS conference, which we are organizing under the auspice of the president of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Stjepan Mesić, are in full swingand that, before the beginning of the conference, everything will be ready for your arrival and successful and pleasant work.

As you were informed earlier by the director of WASC for Southern Europe, Mr. Srečko Koklič, the conference takes place from May 19th to May 2nd in the amazing setting of the hotel "Le Meridien Lav“ in Split.

Except the working part of the conference we have also prepared an interesting programme where you will have the opportunity to get to know the Croatian hospitality and rich tourist offer of Dalmatia. Here we would like to emphasize the dinner on the theme of Croatian culinary legacy where we will present you the best from all Croatian regions. The dinner will be organized especially for you in the impressive cellars of Diocletian`s Palace, an ancient Roman palace that is more than 1700 years old. We also believe that the trip to two islands near Split – Brač and Hvar will be an amazing experience because these two islands are well-known for their beautiful beaches, home-made specialties and excellent wines.

In case you would like to spend few more days in the hotel after the conference you can do that under the same conditions as during the conference.
